Michael Bay is all about T&A up and coming talent, isn't he? The helmer is continuing the trend, plucking little known Spanish-Dutch actress/model Yolanthe Cabau out of obscurity for his upcoming dark comedy-thriller "Pain And Gain."

Well if the cast of “Transformers” helmer Michael Bay’s low-budget (in Bay terms) dark comedy “Pain and Gain” isn’t the most eclectic ensemble of talent he’s ever assembled, it’s certainly the best he’s done in years.

Rebel Wilson Feeling The 'Pain And Gain'

After a scene-stealing turn as Kristen Wiig's annoying roommate in "Bridesmaids" (aided in no small part by Matt Lucas), Rebel Wilson wasted no time capitalizing on the movie's success, grabbing roles in Hollywood projects faster than you can say "Melissa McCarthy." This year alone, Wilson is already set to appear in the Chris Colfer-penned, coming-of-age comedy "Struck By Lightning" (debuting at the Tribeca Film Festival next month), Lionsgate's ensemble pregnancy comedy "What to Expect When You're Expecting" in May, The Weinstein Company's not-a-"Bridesmaids"-sequel-but-get-confused-and-buy-a-ticket-anyway comedy "Bachelorette" in June, and in Fox's animated sequel "Ice Age: Continental Drift" in July. If that wasn't enough, the Australian actress has already wrapped the musical comedy "Pitch Perfect," and has lined up her next project, Michael Bay's "Pain And Gain."

Oh, Michael Bay, you're just too predictable. After making Megan Fox parade around in skimpy clothes for no particular reason before cameras even rolled on 'Transformers' and later replacing her with Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, a model he shot in the desert for Victoria's Secret beforehand, the helmer has done it again casting Israeli supermodel Bar Paly as the female lead of his latest effort, "Pain And Gain."

It's 'Pain And Gain' For Anthony Mackie As He Joins Michael Bay's Crime Caper

While Anthony Mackie might not be a household name just yet, should his star continue to rise, it won't be long before that happens. The talented actor broke through with "The Hurt Locker," but savvy filmgoers already knew he was something special if they caught him in "8 Mile" or "Half Nelson." Since then, he's become one of those actors who elevates a film by his mere presence (he's pretty much the only thing worth watching in "Real Steel") and it's no suprise he's getting snapped up for films left and right. With "Ten Year," "Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter" and "Gangster Squad" on the way this year, Mackie has added another gig to his plate.

While he’s one of our most respected actors -- who somehow has never received an Oscar nomination, that’s another story -- the world of feature filmmaking hasn’t been exactly kind to actor John Turturro.

Rob Corddry is the Jessica Chastain of male comic character actors. No, seriously, hear us out. Aside from being tremendously busy writing, producing and starring in "Children's Hospital," he's got a strong pack of movies on the horizon, including "Seeking A Friend For The End Of The World," "Butter," "Warm Bodies" and "Rapturepalooza." Dude is going to everywhere and now he's adding another gig to his schedule.

Ed Harris To Join Dwayne Johnson In Michael Bay's 'Pain And Gain'

Here's the simple fact: Ed Harris makes anything he appears in worth watching. Last weekend's "Man On A Ledge," where he starred as a villainous Manhattan real estate developer (aren't they all?), found him delightfully chewing the scenery of a film wheezing from its thin premise. And while he hasn't really been in a quality project since "The Way Back," 2012 is already looking promising as he'll be starring as John McCain in HBO's "Game Change" next month. And if all goes according to plan, he'll be reteaming with Michael Bay.

Update: Michael Bay has hit the Shooting For The Edit forums to address rumors about "Transformers 4," and for now, he says that's all they are: "Studio's are passing rumors but I'm not sure what I'm doing? I know I'm going to do Pain and Gain early spring but that's it for right now. I'm leaving all my options on the table. I've got several Studio meetings in the next two weeks."

So, what does a Michael Bay movie look like without $100 million dollars worth of explosions and Victoria's Secret models? We'll soon find out. The director is pushing ahead with plans to do a smaller film after his trilogy of "Transformers" movies and despite the low budget -- somewhere around $20 million bucks -- he may be getting two pretty big starts to help him out.
