You Shall Know Our Velocity Daniel Radcliffe
While author Dave Eggers has made some solid inroads in Hollywood—penning the scripts for "Away We Go" and "Where The Wild Things Are," and coming up with the story for "Promised Land"—his own works have faced a tougher road when it comes to adapting them to the big screen, though that's changing. Jonathan Demme's "Zeitoun" continues to percolate in development, Tom Tykwer's "A Hologram For The King," starring Tom Hanks, just dropped the first image yesterday, and now a long gestating project has some fresh talent involved.

While "Trouble With Curve" was manipulative dramatic drivel, the film wasn't without its merits, most notably watching Justin Timberlake prove he's got an easy onscreen charisma that hasn't really been well served in any movie projects he's done thus far outside of "The Social Network" and arguably "Bad Teacher" (though the Coens' forthcoming "Inside Llewyn Davis" will likely change that). But the combination of a Black List script and a quality director could turn things around.

We can't say we remember "Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist" all that much, besides how funny Ari Graynor was as the super-drunk friend and how inauthentic the New York geography seemed. But it certainly made an impact on someone, as that film's director, Peter Sollett, has just been hired to helm Ellen Page's based-on-actual-events equal rights drama "Freeheld," as was revealed on screenwriter Ron Nyswaner's website (via The Film Stage).

Peter Sollett, Anne Hathaway Teaming For Romantic Comedy

Could Be The Project 'Cover Your Assets'Peter Sollett is in talks to direct an untitled romantic comedy at Lionsgate with Anne Hathaway in the starring role. In the very vague logline, which sounds a little like it has a typo, Hathaway would play "a career woman looking to break her streak of losing romantic relationships to her job." This truly, honestly does not sound like any romantic comedy we've ever heard before! Anne Hathaway, breaking the mold! We're a little disappointed Hathaway would go in this direction, especially after "The Dark Knight Rises," where she'll probably be playing the fourth or fifth lead in a Boy's Club Adventure Movie. It could be the similar sounding project "Cover Your Assets" which is about a high-powered female lawyer used to intimidating the opposite sex, who pretends to be an assistant in order to attract a man.
