Saving the world just got a whole lot more....British. Radiohead, already known for their various philanthropic and charitable efforts, and Jude Law have been paired up (kinda) by Greenpeace for "Save The Arctic." The PSA raises awareness about the issue of the fast melting artic region which could leave the lives of polar bears, narwhals, walruses and more in grave danger, along with humans as well, thanks to rising water levels as a result. Radiohead's (overused) "Everything In Its Right Place" (already featured extensively in the solid documentary "The Island President") provides the soundtrack while Law gravely narrates over footage of a CGI polar bear wandering through a deserted, polluted and ugly urban wasteland.

One film we're surprised didn't come out of TIFF with more buzz was "The Island President." Granted, we didn't get a chance to screen it, but we heard a lot of good word about the documentary and after picking up the Audience Award in that category, we figured there were bigger things to come. Well, that didn't really happen -- yet -- but some boys over the U.K., in a tiny band you might have heard of called Radiohead, will hopefully be giving the movie a little bit of a boost.

We suppose you gotta sell a costume drama conspiracy movie about whether or not Shakespeare actually wrote his massive body of work somehow. But setting it to Radiohead's "Everything In Its Right Place" is just plain dumb.

Give it up to director Garth Jennings. The helmer, landing the pretty plum gig of directing the first video from Radiohead's brand new album "The King Of Limbs" (arriving for download from the boys a day earlier than expected) has hit the web and it has a pretty simple, genius concept. Put a vaudeville hat on Thom Yorke and just film his spastic dancing to the song "Lotus Flower." The result is a bizarrely compelling video with Yorke's flailing, curiously spellbinding limbs as the main attraction.

What a helluva ride it's been for fans of decent music over the past Sunday evening and Monday morning. First, Arcade Fire take home the Grammy for Album Of The Year, trumping a host of favored (and frankly, shitty) acts. Radiohead announces a new album -- "The King Of Limbs" -- this morning that is already on pre-sale and be released digitally this forthcoming Saturday and now, THR reports that Jonny Greenwood will be taking on the scoring duties for Lynne Ramsay's upcoming drama "We Need To Talk About Kevin." Awesome.
