It looks like we'll have to wait for our "Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind" reunion between Kirsten Dunst and Mark Ruffalo. But for writer/director Adam Rapp, he's likely glad that though he's lost one great actor from his film, an equally great replacement has stepped up.

When Mark Ruffalo was announced as the successor to Ed Norton’s Hulk/Bruce Banner for “The Avengers,” many eyebrows were raised and, in the case of the fanboys, many wondered if the actor known for his acclaimed work in indie dramas could do the job. However, if there’s one thing Ruffalo has proven over the years, it’s his versatility as an actor. It's clear at this point that Ben Foster and Oren Moverman are pretty much bros for life. The actor took the lead role in Moverman's directorial debut "The Messenger," and last year cropped up with a small role in "Rampart," which marked the first film from the pair's joint production company Third Mind Pictures. While Moverman is busy on everything ranging from a script for a Brian Wilson biopic to potential directorial outings "The Terrorist Search Engine," with Jesse Eisenberg, a biopic of movie mogul David O Selznick with Ben Stiller, and period drama "The Big Blow," he'll pair with Foster to produce Steve Buscemi's Moverman-penned William Burroughs adaptation "Queer," with Guy Pearce and Kelly Macdonald, and it looks like they're going to squeeze in another collaboration this year as well.

We have to admit, this is one of those projects we'd been hearing about for a while, and being an indie production, it's always hard to tell when these things will actually get off the ground. But when you have a guy like super producer Scott Rudin throwing his weight around, things get done, and moreover, big names can come into play. During the spring, Mark Ruffalo confirmed with us that he was taking a hard look at "Red Light Winter," and now an actress who has been riding an incredible wave of buzz all year confirms that he is aboard and that she is coming along as well.
