In Memoriam: 10 Of Robin Williams’ Best Performances
We lost a genius yesterday. As you're surely aware by now, comedian and actor Robin Williams took his own life in California yesterday morning, aged 63, after what only a few seemed to know was a longtime struggle with depression. Williams had been a household name for close to forty years, first as a stand-up, then as a TV star thanks to "Mork & Mindy," then as a big-screen leading man. But he wasn't just a comic. He was also a Julliard-trained actor, and as his career went on, he continued to show new strings on his bow, becoming Oscar-winning character actor.

Robin Williams World's Greatest Dad
Less than 24 hours have passed since the news of Robin Williams' passing rocked the world, and it's still hard to believe the comedian/actor is no longer with us. Remembrances continue to pour in from throughout the globe, and it says something about how far and deeply Williams reached people that even The Roots member Questlove has a pretty remarkable and touching story about his brief encounter with the actor.

TIFF 2013 Trailers
Based off of the steady stream of crowd-pleasers, critical darlings, and uneven oddities that hit Toronto this past week, the Toronto International Film Festival could already be considered a runaway success. But an entire week more of cinematic gifts await, and we've got clips and trailers for a slew of them, including the latest efforts from Lukas Moodysson, Kurt Russell, and Ben Mendelsohn. While the buzz might have slightly died down about the festival, there's a whole lot still left to go!

What’s Robin Williams been up to recently? Well, on the big screen, the answer is not an awful lot. Last year he popped up briefly in episodes of “Wilfred” and “Louie,” and the year before he voiced a couple of characters in “Happy Feet Two.” However, you have to go back to 2009’s trio of the really rather good “World’s Greatest Dad,” the distinctly average “Night at the Museum 2” and the all kinds of awful “Old Dogs” to get anything significant from Williams on the big screen. That all looks set to change though with “The Big Wedding” and “The Butler” (in which he’ll play a priest and a president, respectively) both looking set for release this year, with “The Angriest Man in Brooklyn” already in the can, and now Williams has another project lined up.

Film roles for Robin Williams have been few and far between over the past decade with the '90's box-office monster mostly limiting himself to independent fare or supporting roles (and we'll politely forget "Old Dogs" ever existed). While it's not exactly a major leading role or anything, the comedian now looks set to edge closer to the spotlight starring alongside some big names for "The Bucket List" helmer Justin Zackham's upcoming wedding comedy "Gently Down The Stream."
