Pale young leading man dreamboat? Check. Playing a cannibalistic monster who holds his predatory instincts in check? Check. Falls in love with a girl who looks like Kristen Stewart? Check. Based on a best-selling book, from Lionsgate/Summit? Double check. “Warm Bodies” took dead (har!) aim at the “Twilight” fanbase, with a little spillover from the “The Walking Dead” acolytes, coming together like a demographic stew to score the number one movie on Super Bowl weekend. Even if it drops next weekend, “Warm Bodies” should hold steady for Valentine’s Day, where it will be an ideal date night opportunity for couples who aren’t brave enough to come to the Swingers Mixer we have planned.

Docs, docs, docs. That's what we're selling folks, so get 'em while they're still hot. An American mayor, Israeli intelligence agents, professional hockey players, and Dave Grohl lead the way on the documetary front. Alternately, you could tamper all that reality with a heavy dose of cinematic illusion and façade: aging hitmen, gun-toting Lolitas fighting the good fight for gender equality, and the walking undead, oh my! (And yes, by "façade," we do mean "Sly's perfectly and uncannily preserved face.") Which direction will you take this weekend? Or are you watching the Super Bowl with the rest of America? Review: 'Stand Up Guys' Strands A Handful Of Legends In A Lame Up-All-Night Comedy

It’s impossible to walk out of “Stand Up Guys” without doing an impersonation of William Hurt in “A History Of Violence,” pressing fingers to your temple and asking, “How do ya fuck that up?” It’s like stocking a team with proven performers and hoping that everything else will work itself out at the end, including a rickety script, indifferent direction, and a plot that pretends its final act is anything other than a cliché-hugging inevitability. As far as superstar combinations, “Stand Up Guys” is less the dramatic turnaround of the 2008 Boston Celtics, and more like the floundering 2013 Los Angeles Lakers.

This weekend proves to be another rather quiet one, at least in the scheme of the December release schedule, featuring a diverse palette of festival winners and documentaries. And, of course, Peter Jackson makes his long-awaited return journey to Middle Earth. Guess there wasn't really any way to compete with 3D dragons, elves, and giants shot at 48 frames per second. Enjoy your immersive, HD experience Tolkien-disciples and technophiles, and tell us what else you'll be seeing below!

You know what the Academy loves? Old people. You know who it's largely made up of? Old people. Give them an elderly person emoting and they'll hand out an Oscar nod, particularly if it's a legendary actor who is beloved and has been kicking around for a while. And when your movie stars Al Pacino, Christopher Walken and Alan Arkin, why not see if these guys can generate a bit of awards season heat?

Starring Al Pacino, Christopher Walken, and Alan Arkin as aging con men who try to get the old gang back together for one last hurrah before one of the guys takes his last assignment -- to kill his comrade -- Lakeshore Records will release the soundtrack to the Lionsgate film "Stand Up Guys," on November 20th.

If "The Expendables 2" didn't meet your fill of Old Guys Doing Things, then let us recycle an old joke and introduce you to the Depends-ables (GET IT?). Al Pacino, Christopher Walken and Alan Arkin are up to no good in the first trailer for "Stand Up Guys," which once again finds some elderly dudes doing wacky stuff.

Sorry Sly Stallone, you're not the only guy in town with a hold on old people blowing things up. There's a new project on the way and a couple of these guys even have Oscars. OH SNAP.
