With "Mad Men" now stretching out its final season across two years, the cast can rest a bit easier knowing they've still got their main gig to keep them in the limelight. None of the lead actors have really broken out on their own in the movie world just yet, so January Jones won't have to worry too much if her western vengeance flick doesn't quite catch on.

Logan Miller’s “Sweetwater” (titled “Sweet Vengeance” in the credits, though it carries the first title at Fantasia) is an idiosyncratic western with a decidedly contemporary sensibility, merging a stoic approach to violence with an off-kilter, nearly Monty Python sensibility. It’s an unusual fit, but an intriguing one, and despite the silence of the film’s leisurely-paced scenes of dialogue, there’s never truly a dull moment. Miller has a fantastic cast to thank for that luxury.

So yeah, January Jones is leading a western and don't worry if you forgot about it. In fact, the film titled "Sweetwater" (though it seems to be going as "Sweet Vengeance" in some territories) even premiered at Sundance back in January, but the reception was so muted (some folks have told us it was awful) that the movie is still without a U.S. distributor. But international openings await, and thus we have our first trailer.

Well, that’s exactly what we’ve got for you here, with a clip a piece from two of the most buzzed about films coming out of the fest so far.

This Christmas holidays are nearly upon us (damn, that was fast) and while Hollywood will take a brief breather, come January everyone will be packing their bags and kicking off 2013 at the Sundance Film Festival. It's as pretty stellar lineup this year, and in particular, two projects with female leads -- hailing from the same hit TV show -- are ones we'll be keeping our eye on.

The big screen career of "Mad Men" star January Jones has been a bit of a mixed bag. She earned acclaim and attention for her turn in Tommy Lee Jones' "The Three Burials Of Melquiades Estrada" but has otherwise floundered. The less said about "Seeking Justice" the better. And do you remember anything about her role in "X-Men: First Class" besides the lingerie she wore? Oh yeah, she was in "Unknown" too, but again, in such a throwaway, forgettable role it's not a shock it hasn't stuck in the memory. But perhaps this next endeavor will set things right.
