Hans Zimmer
For those of you who always wanted to feel the thrill of “Days of Thunder” without actually having to watch the movie, get ready to mark your calendars. Hans Zimmer’s score for “Days of Thunder” is finally making its way to CD! Shockingly, Zimmer’s score, which also features the guitar stylings of Jeff Beck, has never been officially released on the format until now.

The Hunger Games: Catching Fire
For better or worse, the YA franchise format was established with "Twilight," and the ingredients that always have to be in the mix are: a difficult romance, kids rallying against authority and a kick-ass soundtrack of hipster faves and parent-friendly choices to keep everyone happy. And "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire" is certainly keeping up with the latter tradition.

Inside Llewyn Davis
Following its almost uniformly rapturous reception yesterday at the Cannes Film Festival (you can read our take here) today the ‘Inside Llewyn Davis’ team showed up in force for the press conference. With Joel and Ethan Coen, Oscar Isaac, Carey Mulligan, Justin Timberlake, Garrett Hedlund, T-Bone Burnett and cinematographer Bruno Delbonnel comprising the panel it really felt like of the principals, only John Goodman and perhaps “Doogie Howser” alum Max Casella (who incidentally, is totally having a moment right now) were absent. It wasn’t perhaps the most illuminating press conference ever, with hard-hitting questions ranging from “How much did you laugh on set?” to “Oscar Isaac, you were amazing, how did you manage to be so amazing?” but one tiny detail caught our attention.

While Park City continues to buzz with celebs and films and the festival heads into its final weekend, let's take a moment take our eyes off the movies, and instead open up our ears. As it turns out, a good handful of the movies at the Sundance Film Festival are being powered by the music of some pretty impressive performers.

It's almost like the "Twilight" music syndrome all over again on the surface. A studio has a teen phenom-to-be project on their hands and they drive a dump truck full of cash up to the doorsteps of musicians who can't say no.

"The Hunger Games" will be a test of sorts for Jennifer Lawrence. Expectations are running high for the franchise film -- which already has a sequel dated for November 22, 2013 -- and will also be the the first time the young actress is toplining a tentpole. The success of the brewing series will largely depend on if audiences outside the core fanbase will want to go along Katniss' adventures, and that largely rests on Lawrence's shoulders. So as if that pressure wasn't enough, now she's going to show off her singing voice too.

Music Described As "What Bad Blake Might Have Made If Bad Blake Had Been Able To Keep It Together"Looks like Jeff Bridges' seemingly pie-in-the-sky plans to reunite with his "Crazy Heart" musical contributor T-Bone Burnett to record a country music album is actually coming to fruition.

Looks like Jeff Bridges will be returning to the country music scene sooner rather than later after his Oscar-winning role as 'Bad' Blake in Scott Cooper's "Crazy Heart."
