'80s Action Star Christopher Lambert Reportedly Sought For Sequel As WellSince nearly everyone and his mother was linked to casting rumors for the first installment of "The Expendables," it only makes sense that there would be a whole new list of potential recruits for the sequel. Moviehole confirms that previously suggested names like Chuck Norris, John Travolta and Donnie Yen are indeed being mentioned as possibilities, with Yen even receiving an offer But wait, there's more, as those names are just the tip of the iceberg because the folks at Nu Image, as well as director Simon West and star Sylvester Stallone, have reportedly drafted a pretty gaudy wishlist of potential players.

Plus 4 Other Revelations From Shriek-Filled 'Twilight' Panel In Hall HFans of "The Twilight Saga" waited for days outside Comic-Con International's Hall H to be close to Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, Taylor Lautner, and the rest of the actors appearing in the films. But when the 'Breaking Dawn' cast was asked what they were excited enough about to wait that long for, there was a moment of silence before 17-year-old Booboo Stewart (Seth Clearwater) piped in with "The Lord of the Rings." Unlike Tolkien devotees, The 'Twilight' audience isn't typically what people think of when they imagine Comic-Con attendees, but the enormous hall was packed with fans who didn't seem to mind (but promptly left before the rest of the day's panels).

If the first trailer is any indication, Taylor Lautner's transformation from tween-heartthrob to action star will definitely need a little more thrust than what it'll get from the release of John Singleton's "Abduction" later this fall. The film, which was originally described as a 'Bourne'-esque tale, comes across as a teenage drama with a decent budget for stunts with a new poster doing little to change our minds.

Everyone wants to be in the Taylor Lautner business these days. He's got a following thanks to "Twilight," he's got a buff bod, good looks and is non-threatening, which makes him appealing to a big swath of mainstream America. He's being groomed to be an A-list action star and he's already got John Singleton's "Abduction" set to hit later this year, and the futuristic fantasy pic "Incarceron" in development among a handful of projects with his name attached. But now he's set to team with the biggest action director of them all: Michael Bay.

Taylor Lautner may have found his leading lady, and it's an actress who, like Jacob himself, is no stranger to tentpole fare.

Lautner Also Attached To 'Bourne'-Esque Spy Vehicle With filming now underway on the final "Twilight" movie, the two-part werewolf-falls-in-love-with-a-baby extravaganza that is "Breaking Dawn," the franchise's three leads are starting to look to their careers beyond the confines of Forks, Washington. Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are, to their credit, trying to work with top talent on high-class projects, with the former signing last week to star in David Cronenberg's "Cosmopolis," while the latter will appear, most likely looking bored and sleepy, in Walter Salles' adaptation of Jack Kerouac's "On The Road" later in the year.

Make no mistake about it, the buff bod of Taylor Lautner is being groomed to be Hollywood's next action star. He recently wrapped the thriller "Abduction" directed by John Singleton, he's set to become "Stretch Armstrong" for Universal, and now a new pic that will allow him to go shirtless and flex his muscles is on the way.
