Buddies with Kanye West, connoisseur of fine cuisines, stand-up comedian and all around funny guy, Aziz Ansari continues to delivers laughs as the hapless and horny Tom Haverford on "Parks and Recreation" while continuing to solidfy his street cred by rolling with the Apatow crowd. And while his first major big screen outing in last summer's "30 Minutes or Less" was a bit of a fizzle, for his next round at the multiplex, he'll be surrounded by some good friends with an arsenal of comedic talent and wit to riff off of.

The end is coming...and it's going to be hilarious. It seems that the end of the world just isn't the domain for ponderous filmmakers with comedies now taking a crack at the demise of humanity. This summer, Steve Carell and Keira Knightley will face the unknown in "Seeking a Friend for the End of the World," an ensemble crew including Anna Kendrick, Ken Jeong, Rob Corddry, Thomas Lennon, Paul Scheer and Craig Robinson are facing "Rapturepalooza," and now, one more film has a firm date as Seth Rogen and Jay Baruchel's "The Apocalypse" has been stamped with a June 14, 2013 release date.

Originally a comedy short film from the dynamic writing duo of Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg, the twisted minds behind “Superbad,” “The Pineapple Express,” and the upcoming Ben Stiller-starring comedy “Neighborhood Watch,” “Jay and Seth Vs The Apocolapyse” has gone from interesting sensation in 2007 to a long-rumored feature film. Along with short film co-star Jay Baruchel, Rogen and Goldberg have been teasing the feature release for quite some time, with the casting of the group’s regular collaborators James Franco and Jonah Hill being announced back in September.
