Here we go, yet another low budget, crank-it-out-in-a-few-weeks Nicolas Cage movie, and if you forgot about it that's cool, because it's hard to keep track of his prolific, if unselective, output. The latest? "The Frozen Ground," a based on a true story tale with Cage as a cop, tracking down bad guy John Cusack, with Vanessa Hudgens playing a prostitute. Obviously.

Another day, another trailer for a movie Nicolas Cage made over a weekend. Yesterday brought us "Stolen," Cage's "Taken"-in-a-taxi-cab movie, and today brings "Frozen Ground," with a rough/early spot leaking to the web, promising Vanessa Hudgens stripping and lots of glowering from Cage and his co-star John Cusack.

Nicolas Cage has appeared in a seemingly endless stream of action-thrillers over the past several years, including treasures like "Bangkok Dangerous," "Seeking Justice" and "Trespass," — all done, we assume, to help pay down that mountain of debt Cage has accrued — but we're particularly intrigued by one of Cage's upcoming thrillers: "Frozen Ground," produced by co-star Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson.

Also Lines Up Serial Killer Pic 'The Frozen Ground' With John Cusack & Nicolas CageSo, Katherine LaNasa comes to the table with some pretty interesting factoids. She's the ex-wife of both French Stewart and Dennis Hopper (and the mother of Henry Hopper who you saw in "Restless"), and while her name might not be familiar, she's been working steadily for years, mostly on TV, racking up appearances in a number of shows. Maybe you remember her as Lydia in "Two and a Half Men" (see above) or Beverly Ford in "Big Love." She was also the lead on the short lived NBC sitcom "Three Sisters." But the actress is making a huge leap into feature films, and with three projects on the horizon you'll be hearing her name and seeing her more often.

Okay, casting gods. You win. As if putting John Cusack and Nicolas Cage in the same film wasn't enough, now the Anchorage Daily News (via Shadow & Act) reports that 50 Cent is adding his questionable talents into the mix for "The Frozen Ground" for what is now a must see movie. Cage + Fiddy? Sign us the fuck up.
