It's all well and good giving your spec script a taboo-busting, attention-grabbing title: names like "Fuck Buddies" or "I Want To Fuck Your Sister" certainly stand out from the pack, and both of those examples landed on the Black List in past years. But when it comes to actually making the damn thing, you're gong to have to make some kind of compromise, or you're going to have a movie that doesn't have any advertising.

While we're still giggling at the words "hand job" populating movie sites over the last few days, the cast for the upcoming comedy that is yes, based around that very act, is turning out to be quite impressive. We chatted with Bill Hader recently, actor and husband of comedienne Maggie Carey who is writing and directing the project, and he dropped that Alia Shawkat (”Arrested Development”), Mae Whitman (“Scott Pilgrim vs. the World”), Johnny Simmons (ditto), Donald Glover (”Community”), Connie Britton (”Friday Night Lights”), Andy Samberg and himself were all lined up for the film joining Aubrey Plaza who is taking on the lead role. And now a few more names have cropped up as well.

SNL Funnyman Says Andy Samberg, Alia Shawkat, Mae Whitman, Johnny Simmons, Donald Glover & More Will Star In Film Written By His WifeEXCLUSIVE: We haven't been shy in expressing our infatuation with comedic actress Aubrey Plaza. Though she doesn't have too many notches on her belt, her turns in "Funny People," "Scott Pilgrim vs. the World" and "Parks and Recreation" are extremely impressive, displaying a young talent with a knack for comedic timing and wit. Whether it's keeping up with Seth Rogen's deadpan, dry deliveries in Judd Apatow's last picture or actively (and abrasively) berating Michael Cera in Edgar Wright's underrated gem, Plaza did it all effortlessly and showed that she was more than just a one-note actress with a cute face. She's gonna be somebody, she's gonna be a contenda.

Still A Few Hurdles To Clear Before It Goes Into ProductionWe're big fans of comic-turned-actress Aubrey Plaza. She was a refreshingly different love interest, albeit underused, in Judd Apatow's "Funny People," she walked away with her scenes in "Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World," and she's shown surprising range on NBC's excellent "Parks and Recreation." While our Aubrey-Plaza-for-Lois-Lane campaign hasn't yet gained any traction (give it time...), we're as pleased as anyone with today's news that she's graduating to fully blown film lead.
