Yes, lots of new posters to dazzle your eyeballs, so let's jump right in. There are few things surer in life than death and taxes, but at least this week, you can add "On The Road" appearing at the Cannes Film Festival. With the festival set to unveil their slate on Thursday, the new film from Walter Salles is one of surer bets out there. The latest -- and sunniest -- one sheet from the film has arrived, this time focusing on the lovely Kirsten Dunst who plays Carolyn Cassady in the film. She was married to Neal Cassady and was a friend of the Beats including Jack Kerouac and Allen Ginsberg. And sorry KStew fans, we're still waiting on a poster for her....

What’s wrong, can’t wait for the next adaptation of a young adult novel to hit the silver screen? Well if the box-office-shattering release of “The Hunger Games” didn’t quench your thirst for YA lit-based movies, perhaps a few images from the latest adaptation of “Twilight” saga author Stephenie Meyer’s work will.

With "The Hunger Games" set to open this weekend and decimate the box office, in the wake of "Twilight" Hollywood has realized that the tween market not only has disposable income, they are more than willing to spend it. And next spring, another contender will step up to the plate, aiming squarely for the same demographic.

While she spent 2011 losing out on roles in blockbuster movies after testing for "Oblivion," "Total Recall" and "Man Of Steel," don't weep for Diane Kruger. The actress toplines "Farewell, My Queen" as Marie Antoinette in the film which premieres at the Berlin International Film Festival next month, and not only that, she's finally snagged a role in a brewing picture that comes with a "Twilight" connection.

With 'The Twilight Saga' wrapping up next November with 'Breaking Dawn – Part 2,' Stephenie Meyer fans will no doubt be tweaking for more fantastically romantic/yet slightly scary cinematic adaptations of her work. They’re in for a treat because less than six months after the last ‘Twilight’ movie comes out, Meyer’s latest novel, “The Host,” comes to life on the big screen on March 29, 2013.

"In Time" didn't quite provide the comeback that some were hoping for for writer/director Andrew Niccol, who penned "The Truman Show" and directed "Gattaca." Despite playing in the helmer's wheelhouse of big-idea sci-fi, the film was poorly received, more "S1mone" than "Lord of War," and a damp squib at the box office. Fortunately, Niccol already had his next film lined up, and it's something with an built-in fanbase that should make it a better bet, commercially at least.

Dane DeHaan, Thomas McDonnell, Augustus Prew & Jake Abel Also In The MixTake note, young directors. This is why you attach yourself to projects before your next movie comes out. While the middle performance and dreadful reviews for the pretty idiotic "In Time" would have sidelined any director, Andrew Niccol was savvy enough to sign on to "The Host," an adaptation of a novel by "Twilight" author Stephenie Meyer and with a release date already pegged, this one is beginning to cast up.

We're only in the middle of 2011, but studios are looking far into the future and counting their money with flags already being planted in 2013. “Elysium,” “Oz" The Great and Powerful,” “Iron Man 3,” “Oblivion,” "R.I.P.D." and "Fast & Furious 6" are already scheduled, and now one more has joined the ranks of the slowly filling 2013 calendar.

It seems that these days, major studios aren't interested in making or distributing a movie unless it can be franchised or easily sold to the movie-buying public. So no surprise that three new projects with stars attached have found their way to smaller shingles.

There's only a handful of people right now who can rush a project through development, and apparently, one of these people is "Twilight" series writer Stephenie Meyer.
