True Detective
It looks like "The Hunger Games" pals Woody Harrelson and Liam Hemsworth are eager to spend their time away from the YA franchise together as well. Future bromance? We'll see, but this project does sound interesting. The pair will star in the revenge western "By Way Of Helena."

Frank Grillo, Intersection
The idea of a remake of Indonesian action sensation "The Raid" without the bonkers, surely-someone-must-have-died action genius of director Gareth Evans, or with the presumably lax approach to health and safety that's the only way some of the insanity of the film (and its even crazier sequel) could have been pulled off, seems somewhat pointless. But nevertheless, Screen Gems have been pressing on, with "Red Hill" and "The Expendables 3" helmer Patrick Hughes attached to direct, and they just made a hire that means we might have a sliver of interest in the prospect.

Baby Mama
Listen, we love Tina Fey and Amy Poehler. They're two smart, funny women and when brought together, they usually have Voltron-like comedy powers. Their Golden Globes hosting gigs have been a blast, and generally, put them in a room and they'll be the funniest people in it. But taking on "Star Wars: Episode 7"? Good luck.

Cate Blanchett, The Dig, Susanne Bier
Susanne Bier doesn't stop. Already in post-production on "A Second Chance" starring Nikolaj Coster-Waldau (first look here), and with "Serena" forever dangling over her head as that completed but still somewhat shelved Bradley Cooper/Jennifer Lawrence joint, the director is already plowing ahead on new a movie, one that is aiming to shoot this fall, with a pretty big star attached.

If you didn't know the name Jason Moore before, it looks like you're going to be hearing a lot more from him. The helmer, who has directed episodes of "Dawson's Creek," "Everwood" and "Brothers & Sisters," made his feature debut last fall with the acapella musical comedy "Pitch Perfect." On paper, it hardly sounds like anything resembling a hit, but the movie was both a critical and commercial smash, earning over $100 million worldwide. And now Universal is hoping that pairing him up with a big comedy star will yield even better results.
