It’s pretty clear that we aren’t the demographic or audience for the “Twilight” series of films, but it’s also obvious that we’re a small contingent, as all of the films continue to be box office successes – with 2011’s fourth installment, “Breaking Dawn: Part 1,” raking in over $700 million worldwide. Lucrative is putting it lightly, but at the center of it all has been author Stephenie Meyer, who kickstarted this phenomenon of epic proportions with the book series that saw its first release back in 2005.

YOU GUYS. Just over two weeks until Edward, Bella, bad CGI, wooden line readings and more reunite for the final movie in the "Twilight" franchise. ZOMG. And with the cast starting to do the press rounds, they are moistening expectations for Twihards who have booked off work to say a final goodbye to their beloved Cullens.

Who’s looking forward to the final entry in the “Twilight” franchise? Well, if the last film’s global box office of $700 million is anything to go by, then a hell of a lot of people are. Well, there’s not long to wait now with “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2” set for release in almost every major territory between November 14th-16th, although you’ve got to feel sorry for those poor Japanese Twi-hards who have to wait until December 28th!

Though "The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey" and "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn -- Part 2" have little in common except unnecessarily long movie titles, they are both franchises that are beginning and ending, respectively, this fall. And they both are trying to catch you at home as you try and find a "Seinfeld" re-run to tell you they are coming to theaters.

Now that everyone seems to have forgotten about that Kristen Stewart, Rupert Sanders, and Robert Pattinson love triangle (if that’s what you’d like to call it), Summit Entertainment is quick to turn the eyes of the public towards the romantic mishaps of Bella, Jacob, and Edward. That’s right ladies and vamps, the “epic finale” of the “Twilight” series entitled “Twilight: Breaking Dawn Part 2” is making its way to theaters shortly, and a new clip, featurette, and poster have been unleashed upon us – or rather the tweens who eat this stuff up.

At the beginning of the year, Twihards squealed when word emerged that Lionsgate -- who were fresh off buying Summit -- would be keen on continuing the "Twilight" franchise, with the blessing of author Stephenie Meyer of course. “If she (Meyer) wishes to do it, we’ll be there to support her," Lionsgate motion picture group co-chair Rob Friedman said at the time. And really, who wouldn't want to keep a $2.5 billion franchise going?

It's a bit of good news/bad news for Italian Robsten fans. The good news: the epic conclusion to the vampire story of our time, "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn -- Part 2" will make its world premiere at the Rome Film Festival. The bad news? Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart won't be there. That red carpet just shed a single tear. But is this a sign the 'Breaking Dawn -- Part 2' press jaunt will have significantly less participation by its two leads as they work their relationship out? While the studio has insisted plans will go forth as planned, one wonders...

Once upon a time, a long, long time ago, independent movies used to curate interesting and savvy soundtracks featuring independent, lesser-known artists. Big budget films used to feature fairly predictable top 40 bands, but everyone was still pretty much happy. Then along came the mp3 industry crash of the early aughts, and struggling musicians learned that licensing their music to soundtracks was often lucrative; especially when they weren't small indie films with no budget. High and low disappeared, with everyone struggling to get a piece of the pie. Hence, the "Twilight" saga soon picked up songs from "cool" bands like Radiohead, Beck, Vampire Weekend, Iron & Wine, Thom Yorke, Muse, Metric, The Black Keys, Band of Horses, Death Cab for Cutie, Bon Iver and St. Vincent, etc.

The epic finale that will live forever! You gotta love how modest Summit Entertainment is being about the final installment of the "Twilight" saga in their latest, jogging-happy, poster. Twihards will always complain about how movie bloggers tend to be haters about the "Twilight" series, but considering the marketing, the premises and some of these recently released photos, can you really blame us?

"Oop...I almost forgot. I won't be able to make it fellas. Bella and I are trying this new fad called uh, jogging. I believe it's jogging or yogging. It might be a soft j. I'm not sure but apparently you just run for an extended period of time. It's supposed to be wild."
