While the anticipated sequel (well, anticipated by nerds) to "Tron: Legacy" remains a thing that might happen at Disney (though we think with their slate full of Marvel movies and "Star Wars" sequels, it's probably not a big priority), director Joseph Kosinski is looking at some other options for his follow-up to this spring's sci-fi "Oblivion." And it looks like he wants to enter another dimension...a dimension of sound, a dimension of sight, a dimension of mind.

Not content with stepping in to save "X-Men: Days Of Future Past" after Matthew Vaughn bailed on directing, it now looks like Bryan Singer is going put his hand in another geek favorite property, but this time, on the small screen.

Tony Peckham, who has worked on the scripts for Clint Eastwood's rugby drama "Invictus," Guy Ritchie's period actioner "Sherlock Holmes," and whatever-the-fuck "Book of Eli" was, has been hired by Warner Bros. and Leonardo DiCaprio's Appian Way to pen the new "The Twilight Zone" movie, reports Variety. This new "The Twilight Zone" feature is still shrouded in secrecy and still set to be directed by "Let Me In" helmer Matt Reeves.

Despite much more high-profile names like Christopher Nolan, Michael Bay, Alfonso Cuarón and Rupert Wyatt being wishlisted by Warner Bros., the forthcoming "The Twilight Zone" has found its director, and it's a pretty inspired choice.

Michael Bay, Alfonso Cuaron & Rupert Wyatt Also In The MixSo yeah, we sort of forgot about this one, but Warner Bros. has been trying to get a reboot of "The Twilight Zone" off the ground for a while now. Way back in 2008 Rand Ravich ("The Astronaut's Wife") was hired to write the script, and then last fall rising scribe Jason Rothenberg was brought on board the project. And that's pretty much all we heard about it. Well, it looks like the studio is aiming for some big names to take the reins.
