We don't see Kim Basinger up on the big screen all that often anymore. In fact, it was two years ago that she last popped up in the Zac Efron vehicle "Charlie St. Cloud." Before that movie was another two year gap, with 2008 seeing her in three pictures: "The Burning Plain," "The Informers" and something called "While She Was Out." But the actress is coming out of the woodwork once again, for a movie that will likely be more worth her time than most of her recent resume.

Paul Haggis' next film, "Third Person," seems to be moving onward in fits and starts. With sporadic updates throughout last year, this spring the movie started firmly moving foward when Liam Neeson and Olivia Wilde boarded, with Jude Law rumored for a part as well and then....not much else. But it seems the wheels are turning once again with some exciting new names now ready to lend their talents.

Paul Haggis Quietly Working On Global Romantic Drama 'Third Person'

With his prison escape drama "The Next Three Days" set to hit theaters in a couple of weeks, writer/director Paul Haggis has seen his name linked to a couple of gestating projects. More recently, he's been tapped to adapt and possibly direct the Spanish sensation "Celda 211" and earlier in the year he was linked with Russell Crowe to a big screen version of the 1980s TV series "The Equalizer." However, one project that hasn't been mentioned is one that he's keeping to himself for now.
