Who can you trust? It’s the question posed by the international spies at the heart of “Mobius,” all of whom spend their time so deep undercover that they might as well be double-crossing themselves. Of course, as this film proudly, defiantly jumps deep into the pool of international finance trading (which may actually be a thing, or might just be three buzzwords slammed together given the rapid-fire patter of this film), the question audiences will likely be asking is, who can we avoid trusting so we aren’t a part of this whole mess?

“Mobius” is a film that has been on our radar for a while now, first intriguing us last November with its "Inception"-esque teaser. Then it was announced yesterday that “Mobius” would be included in the lineup at this year’s Tribeca Film Festival and, right on cue, we have a whole slew of new pics as well as a couple of clips from the film to get us even more excited. Certainly, this makes “Mobius” a must-see at next month’s festival.

Behind the camera, David Lynch is a certified phenomenon. In front of it, he remains a little more enigmatic. His cameo credits (“Louie," “The Cleveland Show” and that time they appeared to run out of cast members in “Twin Peaks”) are pretty incongruous with his usual brand of provocative art, and lend a further wacky dimension to his already surreal public persona.

Last fall, our attention was grabbed in a big way by the teaser trailer for "Mobius." Coming somewhat out of nowhere, it certainly riffed on BRAAAHM-esque, "Inception"-style marketing, but was still tantalizingly mysterious, and provided more than enough stirring imagery to intrigue us. Well, with the movie set to open overseas shortly, a longer, more traditional trailer has dropped that's no less compelling.

As "The Artist" star Jean Dujardin prepares to make strides into Hollywood with roles in Martin Scorsese's "The Wolf Of Wall Street" and George Clooney's "The Momuments Men," he's got a nifty little thriller on the way that looks very, very promising. Dare we even say "Inception"-esque?

Prepare to feel very, very old indeed -- twenty years ago today, on October 23rd 1992, "Reservoir Dogs" was released in theaters, introducing the world to a 29-year-old video store clerk turned filmmaker with an encyclopaedic knowledge of film named Quentin Tarantino. But even in the months beforehand, his feature directorial debut, "Reservoir Dogs" had already started to upend the American independent film movement but with tremendously well received screenings at Sundance, Cannes and Toronto.

Mental disability, divorce, first boyfriends, teen pregnancy, bullying....yes, there is a lot going on in "Broken." And while the first trailer for the film does at least highlight the strong performances from the cast, it's too bad it's in service of a picture that doesn't quite do their work justice.

With an election season in full swing, and the economy still on uneven footing, perhaps there is no better time for "Arbitrage," the feature film debut of Nicholas Jarecki (the brother of Eugene and Andrew Jarecki). And pulling together a cast that includes Susan Sarandon, Brit Marling, Tim Roth, Laetitia Casta, Nate Parker and Chris Eigeman, all led by what's regarded by many to be the best performance in years by Richard Gere, this should make an impression this fall.

Well, with "Eastern Promises 2" looking like his next feature film, David Cronenberg will take a quick break and move to the small screen first. He's already going to make a rare acting gig in the SyFy pilot "Rewind," and he's got his own TV show brewing in "The Knifeman" which has now found a lead star.
