X-Men: Days of Future Past
It's a helluva gamble. For "X-Men: Days Of Future Past," director Bryan Singer and writer Simon Kinberg brought together two generations of mutants, tossed in time travel and hoped it would lead to a powerhouse result. And ... well, not everyone agrees on whether or not the roll of the dice paid off.

X-Men: Days of Future Past
"X-Men: Days Of Future Past" drops in just a couple of weeks, and right now, the folks at Fox are spending a lot days of future planning for the franchise. "X-Men: Apocalypse" is already on deck for 2016, and "The Wolverine 2" continues to develop, even as Hugh Jackman plays forever coy about whether or not it's the last time he sports the mutton chops and fangs. But the studio is certainly hoping to make it easier on the actor who has to diet like crazy to get mad ripped to play Logan.

X-Men Days Of Future Past
We're less than three weeks away from mutants running amok in multiplexes nationwide. As you might (or might not) have been aware, during the credits to this weekend's "The Amazing Spider-Man 2," there was a brief tease for "X-Men: Days Of Future Past." It was a rare moment of rival studios helping each other out, but if you had the same feelings we did about Marc Webb's sequel, you might've bailed as soon the credit reel started. We don't blame you. So if you did miss it, or want to see it again, Fox has dropped the clip online.

X-Men: Days Of Future Past,
"X-Men: Days Of Future Past" will be bringing in an orgy of mutants, with (nearly) everyone who has possessed a power at one time or another stopping by in Bryan Singer's time travel franchise entry. But when "X-Men: Apocalypse" drops in a couple of years, the focus will return back to the young, 'First Class' crowd and they take center stage in this latest clip.

X-Men Days Of Future Past
The past little while has seen a lot of talk about where the X-Men franchise is going after "X-Men: Days Of Future Past," and how it will lead into "X-Men: Apocalypse" and whatnot. And while that speculation is sorta interesting (even if the latter movie is still two year away), it might be nice to focus on 'DOFP' first. Well, Fox is doing just that, by dropping a brand-new clip from the movie today.

X-Men: Days Of Future Past
With Warner Bros. formally announcing plans for "Justice League" last night, the name of the game around Hollywood is to make your comic property even bigger and better than whatever Marvel is doing. Or at least try to. And Fox is pushing forward hard with their mutant universe that will continue to expand with "X-Men: Days Of Future Past." And, just like Marvel, a small screen future could be in the playbook.

X-Men Days Of Future Past
With director Bryan Singer withdrawing from all press for the forthcoming "X-Men: Days Of Future Past" as allegations against him of sexual abuse are investigated, Fox will slightly have to course-correct for the next month as they get ready to drop the film in theaters. And whatever may be happening with the filmmaker isn't stopping the marketing onslaught.

Frank Miller's Sin City: A Dame To Kill For
“X-Men: Days Of Future Past” is nearly upon us. What goes on in this movie? Well, the future X-Men meet the past X-Men in hopes of changing the future and therefore rewriting history. What does that mean? Well, probably a chance to undo the continuity of the old “X-Men” movies so that anyone who has died in the past films – Jean Grey, etc. – can be made undead (and conveniently recast in newer films).

The Amazing Spider-Man 2
OMG, an “X-Men: Days Of Future Past” mid-credits sting in “The Amazing Spider-Man 2.” Crosssssooooverrrrrrrr! Nope, as you’ve probably read by now. The only reason that this unlikely event – a 20th Century Fox movie being promoted within a Sony/Columbia tentpole – happened was because it was essentially in director Marc Webber’s contact. The filmmaker owed another move to Fox Searchlight (sibling company of parent Fox) after “(500) Days of Summer,” and so in order for him to make “The Amazing Spider-Man” and the sequel, Sony had to agree to promote one of Fox’s upcoming movies (they chose “X-Men Days of Future Past” in the aforementioned example).
