A movie adaptation of Emma Forrest’s memoir “Your Voice In My Head” has been in the works for quite some time now. David Yates signed on to direct the film back in December of 2011 with Emma Watson and Stanley Tucci taking the lead roles soon after. But scheduling conflicts caused David Yates to drop out of the project last spring and with Yates out of the picture, looks like Emma Watson is on her way out too.

Though recently pushed back from a spring to summer start, allowing Emma Watson the chance to flex some comedic muscle in Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg's directorial debut "The End Of The World," it looks like "Your Voice In My Head" is going to need a new director.

Well, we always knew that "The End Of The World," the newly titled feature adaptation of "Jay And Seth Vs. The Apocalypse" was going to be swarming with cameos, but this may be the biggest, non-Apatow gang member to join the flick (outside of Rihanna, who James Franco recently tipped).

If your part calls for an actor in their 40s or 50s, and you're part of a big studio movie, the reality is that the same handful of names are always going to be at the top of your casting wishlist -- the Cruises, the Clooneys, the Pitts, the Hankses, the Depps. These are the guys who get every offer in town, and as such, those actors get to pick and choose from the cream of the crop.

While Daniel Radcliffe makes his first post-'Harry Potter' starring role in the horror film "The Woman In Black" this weekend, Hermoine is also looking to shed her Hogwarts image. Emma Watson has been making small steps in defining herself outside the wizard franchise, taking a throwaway role in "My Week With Marilyn" as well as a more substantial part in the upcoming "The Perks Of Being A Wallflower." But this next role will be her biggest test yet, though she has a familiar friend to help her out.

So what does director David Yates do after helming four movies in the mega 'Harry Potter' franchise? Well despite having a plethora of potential big movies to choose from ("The Stand," the gangster epic "Cicero," the fairy tale flick "Fables") he's made a pretty interesting shift in direction, choosing something a bit more intimate in scope.

Yesterday, it was reported that screenwriter Emma Forrest, the up-and-coming scribe behind the excellent and sadly unproduced screenplay "Liars (A-E)" had her memoir optioned a film. Entitled "Your Voice In My Head," the book chronicles a particularly trying time in Forrest's life in which she battled self-destructive behavior and was saved by a compassionate psychiatrist. And while much has been made about her previous relationship with Colin Farrell -- which she was in while she wrote the memoir -- we reached out to Forrest to ask her to clear the air regarding her memoir. And though she was already weary of being misrepresented by the press in past interviews, she did give us some brief thoughts.

Screenwriter Emma Forrest has been on our radar for a while. She featured on our list of "5 Screenwriters About To Hit The Big Time" largely due to the strength of her excellent script "Liars (A-E)," which focused on a woman on the verge of turning 30 who, after she's dumped by her rock star boyfriend on election night, decides to travel to Obama's inauguration with her younger best friend, stopping along the way to take back gifts she'd given all her ex-boyfriends. At one point, the film was set up with Richard Linklater directing and Kat Dennings and Rebecca Hall set to star but -- blast you movie gods! -- the project fell apart. The script was penned in three days following her break-up with Colin Farrell after a year-long relationship, and another piece of work inspired from that period in her life is now making its way to the big screen.
