10 Essential Cinematic AntiheroesThree clips from his upcoming "Lincoln" have made their way online, not only highlighting Daniel Day-Lewis' Abe, but also his family members, including his wife played by Sally Field and his son, portrayed by Joseph Gordon-Levitt. If that's not enough, a few new pics are here too with David Strathairn (as William Seward), Walton Goggins (as Clay Hawkins) and David Constabile (as James Ashely) all getting some shine.
"Lincoln" closes the AFI Fest on Thursday, opens in limited release on Friday and goes wide on November 16th.

Curious, as the picture from Dream Works says Walton Goggins plays "Clay Hawkins", but wikipedia doesn't know who that is. Other sources says he plays Wells Hutchins, who did exist and was a Democratic supporter of abolition. Could Dream Works be wrong in their own press materials?

I though Lincoln was brutally boring.

DDL as Lincoln sounds just like Will Rogers. : )
