Wow, 20th Century Fox are moving quick to swing fanboy opinion after the early leak at the first look of latest batch of superhoes assembled for "X-Men: First Class" were met with negative scrutiny. Earlier in the day some new, period specific, and much better photos arrived from the film and now a fresh teaser poster has landed.
And well, what can we say? It's a teaser poster and as such it's little more than a giant logo with a tiny date on it. It recenters the story back to the School For Gifted Youth and rightfully points to a reboot of the franchise as the story goes back to the 1960s origins of the original crew of superheroes centered around the early fracture of the friendship between a very young Professor X and Magneto played by James McAvoy and Michael Fassbender respectively. And as you probably know by know the cast is rounded out by Jennifer Lawrence (Mystique), Rose Byrne (Moira MacTaggert), January Jones' cleavage (Emma Frost), Oliver Platt (Man In Black), Caleb Landry (Banshee), Lucas Till (Havoc), Edi Gathegi (Darwin), Jason Flemyng (Azazel), Zoe Kravitz (Angel) and Kevin Bacon as the evil Sebastian Shaw. The film hits on June 3rd. Full poster below. [AICN]
