Oscar, 2014 Winners

You've watched it, you've read about it, but there's one thing that you'll need to make sense of the Oscars—some cold hard stats! In the spirit of Best Picture winner Brad Pitt's earlier film "Moneyball," below we've collected a bunch of data and numbers about the people, the movies and such from last night, so that you can impress your friends/family/loved ones/would-be-loved-ones over dinner. Take a look below.

3 hours, 35 minutes - total length of last night's ceremony

12 Years A Slave

43 million - total viewership of last night's ceremony in the U.S., the largest audience in ten years

14.7 million - number of Oscar-themed tweets written worldwide

25.4 million - number of Oscar-related interactions on Facebook

5 - total number of producers on Best Picture-winner "12 Years A Slave," the most for one movie since "Shakespeare In Love" in 1999

7 - biggest number of wins for the night, for "Gravity." It comes in behind "Cabaret," which still just holds the record for most Oscar victories without taking Best Picture, taking 8 wins.

10 - number of nominations for "American Hustle," which won no prizes

11 - number of nominations without winning a single prize for "The Turning Point" and "The Color Purple," just beating "American Hustle" to the ignominious record ("Gangs Of New York" and "True Grit" join David O. Russell's film in second place, with ten nods and no wins.)

$50 million - total gross to date in the U.S. for "12 Years A Slave." That's more than "The Artist" or "The Hurt Locker" took in their entire runs, but significantly less than "Slumdog Millionaire," "The King's Speech" or "Argo."

$89 million - international gross of "12 Years A Slave" to date (for a worldwide total of $140 million). That's a million dollars more than "The Artist."

Frozen

$1,000,236,000 - current box office haul for the top-grossing film to win any Oscars this year, "Frozen," which crossed the billion dollar-mark over the weekend

2 - number of people who won more than one Oscar last night: Alfonso Cuarón, for Best Editing and Best Director, and Catherine Martin, for Costume and Production Design for "The Great Gatsby"

4 - number of winners from last night who weren't first-time Oscar winners. Cate Blanchett won Supporting Actress for "The Aviator," designer Catherine Martin also took home the production/costume design double for "Moulin Rouge!," sound engineer Chris Munro picked up a prize for "Black Hawk Down," and visual effects whiz Neil Corbould won for "Gladiator"

0 - number of Latino directors to win Best Director before Alfonso Cuarón last night

0 - number of black filmmakers/producers to win Best Picture before Steve McQueen last night

Scoot McNairy

1 - actors who appeared in both this year and last year's Best Picture winner - Scoot McNairy. He can make it three years in a row if any of "Non-Stop," "Frank," "Black Sea," "Gone Girl" or "The Rover" win next year.

10 - number of actors who appeared in featured roles in Best Picture nominees both this year and last year: Jennifer Lawrence, Bradley Cooper, Chris Pratt, Bruce Dern, Leonardo DiCaprio, Kyle Chandler, Quvenzhané Wallis, Dwight Henry, Robert De Niro and Shea Whigham have all been in nominees in both of the last two years

3 - number of Best Picture nominees in the last three years to star Chris Pratt, who was in "Moneyball" in 2011, "Zero Dark Thirty" in 2012 and "Her" in 2013. He can make it four if "The Lego Movie" or "Guardians Of The Galaxy" pick up nominations

3 - number of Best Picture nominated pictures in the last two years to star Shea Whigham and Kyle Chandler, more than any other actor. Whigham was in "Silver Linings Playbook," "American Hustle" and "The Wolf Of Wall Street," and Chandler was in "Zero Dark Thirty," "Argo" and "The Wolf Of Wall Street." If you want an Oscar nomination, cast these guys together.

5 - number of Best Picture nominees that won no prizes at all. "American Hustle," "Captain Phillips," "Nebraska," "Philomena" and "The Wolf Of Wall Street" all missed out completely.

Mr. Nobody

1 - number of movies Best Supporting Actor winner Jared Leto made in the five years before his Oscar-winning turn in Dallas Buyers Club (2009's "Mr. Nobody")

0 - number of movies Best Supporting Actress winner Lupita Nyong'o made before "12 Years A Slave"

24 - number of awards Cate Blanchett won for Best Actress for "Blue Jasmine," including her Oscar

4 - number of acting awards that matched up with Independent Spirit awards. It's the first time that's happened ever, and the Oscar winners also matched up exactly with the SAG, for the first time in three years.

$300 - amount of money raised when Ellen DeGeneres passed Pharrell's hat through the crowd to pay for the pizzas, according to TMZ. The bulk appeared to have come from Harvey Weinstein.

$0 - amount of money that's so-far made it's way to the delivery guy, Edgar, according to the same site

300 - total slices of pizza delivered to the Dolby Theater, according to a source at the pizza chain: 5 36-inch Big Papa pizzas, each of which are made up of 60 slices

$350 - estimated total cost of five Big Papa pizzas (between $60 and $80 each), suggesting that that the celebs still came up $50 short. Couldn't you stump up more, Harvey?

2014 Oscar Selfie

12 - number of people featured in Ellen's selfie—from left to right, it's Jared Leto, Jennifer Lawrence, Channing Tatum, Meryl Streep, Ellen herself, Julia Roberts, Kevin Spacey, Bradley Cooper, Brad Pitt, Lupita Nyong'o, Lupita's brother Peter Nyong'o Jr., and Angelina Jolie

2,783,860 - number of times, as we went to press, that Ellen's already-legendary selfie has been retweeted

1,448,714 - number of times that the same photo had been favorited on Twitter

0 - number of times Ellen's selfie with Chiwetel Ejiofor, Brad Pitt and Benedict Cumberbatch has been retweeted. Despite taking it live on air shortly the famous photo, this one has yet to appear on her Twitter.

50,542 - number of times Ellen's selfie with Liza Minnelli, taken soon afterwards, has been retweeted
