Review: 'The Immigrant'Whether the superhero movie can crack the super-huge numbers at the box office needed to capture the same wads of cash as Gary Ross' effort (and erase the memory of "Jerrrn Cerrrter" for troubled Disney) likely depends on the strength of the marketing. And while the trailers have been pretty good so far, the images that we've been drip-fed haven't been all that memorable. Happily, though, we can report that the latest batch of images are a vast improvement on what's come before.
Again, they're mostly just shots of our heroes standing around, but there's something a lot cooler about them than the previous efforts. Mostly the characters are just looking stern-faced at something out of shot, but there's also Mark Ruffalo's Bruce Banner flashing an out of character cheesy grin. The best two though are of Tom Hiddleston's Loki, looking like he's just arrived back on Earth, and of Chris Evans' Captain America in a gorgeous smokey shot standing amongst the post-battle wreckage. Oh, and if you look closely behind Thor you might also catch a glimpse of Cobie Smulders' Maria Hill - she's totally in this movie. Marvel's Avengers Assemble on the big screen on in the U.K. on April 26th and in the U.S. on May 4th. [via Collider]
