10 Essential Cinematic AntiheroesAfter the runaway success of the first “Hunger Games,” the studio has stepped it up with "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire" in a big way with Francis Lawrence using IMAX to bring audiences further into the dystopian world of Suzanne Collins’ books. Indeed, the larger format may prove to be a big boon for the sequel’s costume department which looks to further push their designs for residents of the Capitol.
Most of the main cast is accounted for with Jennifer Lawrence’s Katniss leading the pack wearing a dress that is just a dead swan away from being in Bjork’s closet. We even have our first official look at Jeffrey Wright and Jena Malone as Beetee and Johanna, respectively. “The Hunger Games: Catching Fire” hits theatres later this year on November 22nd with 100% less Wes Bentley facial hair (RIP). Check out the character posters below.

I mean, I appreciate the snark in calling out the costumes, but the girls' gowns are actual couture, not something the costume department dreamed up. So let's appreciate that they've got a higher budget this time around? Effie is wearing Alexander McQueen, and I believe J-Law is as well.

Josh Hutcherson is not "conspicuously absent", they're releasing his picture today in a couple of hours, and a few more Capitol portraits of main characters are to follow.
