There's A Third Hemsworth Brother, And He's Making Movies Now

Australian brothers Chris and Liam Hemsworth have found great success in Hollywood in the last few years. In case you’re not sure which one is which, Chris plays Thor and Liam was in “The Hunger Games”. Well, believe it or not, there’s actually a third Hemsworth brother, Luke, the eldest of the three. Luke has yet to have the type of success that his brothers have had, mostly working in Australian television so far, but it looks like he's finally getting the chance to strut his stuff on the big screen.

Australian brothers Chris and Liam Hemsworth have found great success in Hollywood in the last few years. In case you’re not sure which one is which, Chris plays Thor and Liam was in “The Hunger Games”. Well, believe it or not, there’s actually a third Hemsworth brother, Luke, the eldest of the three. Luke has yet to have the type of success that his brothers have had, mostly working in Australian television so far, but it looks like he's finally getting the chance to strut his stuff on the big screen.

Luke Hemsworth has signed on to star in his feature debut, “The Reckoning,” from Australian writer/director John V. Soto. Hemsworth plays a detective alongside Jonathan LaPaglia, who knows a thing or two about being the less famous sibilng, being the younger brother of "Without A Trace" star Anthony LaPaglia. Together, their mission is to search for two missing teenagers who shot video footage of a murder. Shooting takes place is Perth in late April. It’s not quite the big-budget fare that his younger brothers have been working on, but it’s a start, we suppose, and puts them on the path towards some kind of "Avengers"-style Hemsworth team-up movie. No word on when the Aussie film is planning a release, but we’ll keep a lookout in case more brothers of famous Aussie actors sign on. Nash Edgerton? Quentin Jackman? Christopher Crowe? (the last two might be fictional...) [Deadline]
