James Gray Talks Sci-Fi Project
Recap: 'Arrested Development'
Review: 'The Immigrant'Jesse Wigutow ("It Runs In The Family," "The Crow" reboot that's stuck in development hell) will now put fingers to keyboard for the project that still has Joseph Kosinski attached to direct. Of course, story details and who may or may not be returning is still up in the air, but we'd presume the studio will want to rope in the main trio of Garrett Hedlund, Olivia Wilde and Jeff Bridges once again. And maybe Cillian Murphy will get to expand on his brief role and become a full fledged villain?
Either way, the timing of this is hardly a surprise. Kosinski is in post-production on this big Tom Cruise sci-fi flick "Oblivion," which hits theaters on April 19, 2013, and we'd wager Disney might want to lock him as soon as he's done before he gets a chance to drift to something else. So you can perhaps expect a flurry of activity for the next brief while, but whether it coalesces into a green light, we'll have to wait and see.
