10 Essential Cinematic AntiheroesBleeding Cool is reporting that the legendary CG animation studio has all but officially chosen “The Inside Out” as the title. Though it hasn’t been cleared yet and no official confirmation is forthcoming, the site’s sources say “it’s the one Pixar want[s].”
About the only thing we know about the animated film -- other than “Star Wars: Episode 7” writer Michael Arndt tackling the screenplay -- is what Pixar head honcho (and Hawaiian shirt aficionado) John Lasseter told Charlie Rose last year: “Pete Docter, from ‘Monsters Inc.’ and ‘Up,’ is doing a new film that takes place inside of a girl’s mind and it is about her emotions as characters, and that is unlike anything you’ve ever seen.” So, "Inception" for kids or something?
“The Inside Out” is set for release on June 19, 2015 in what’s shaping up to be a big summer at the movies with “The Avengers 2,” “Justice League,” “Star Wars: Episode 7” and a possible bow for “Avatar 2” all slated.

Personally, I thought Cars 2 and Brave were fine. The level of scenery in Cars 2 (Monte Carlo, downtown London) was phenomenal. A bad movie by Pixar still beats some of the best offerings out there. However, the rest of the playing field is definitely catching up.

Pete Docter as director + Michael Arndt as the man writing the screenplay = this is going to be the bee's knees.

i bet the pixar animated film the inside out will be like inception for kids and it will feature the mind of a young girl with her emotions as characters the spoof from inception like the real dora from dora the explorer and maybe she could join the disney princesses like snow white, cinderella, princess aurora, ariel, belle, jasmine, pocahontas, mulan, tiana, rapunzel, merida, anna and now dora and the story says the film told from the perspective of the emotions inside the mind of a little girl and it features a tomboyish protagonist who is a girl who are pretty on the inside and outside so that happens that they don't feel they need to show it off and she can play sports with her guy bestfriends and playing video games and much more. so i think it is based on the parenting experiences with pete docter and his daughter elie. and pixar takes audiences on incredible journeys into extradionary worlds from toy story/tory story 2 , a bug's life, monsters inc, the incredibles, wall-e, and up and from director pete docter and producer jonas rivera the inventive new film will take you to a place that everyone knows but no one has ever seen: the world inside the human mind

This is the boost that Pixar needs after some duds.
A fantastic director/writer with an idea that (again) makes a female the centre character.
Plus the whole mental aspect sounds interesting for a kids flick.

And it's also not as sequel heavy as it sounds given that Finding Nemo 2 proabably won't be coming out till after three original films
