As critical reaction rolls in for the super-sized sequel, audiences still have to wait another week to see how well Bryan Singer and Simon Kinberg have pulled off the ambitious time-traveling plot of “X-Men: Days Of Future Past.” In the meantime, hundred-million dollar marketing campaigns stop for no one which is why there’s a new character "power piece," an interview with some of the mutant stars of the film, and a new featurette.

As critical reaction rolls in for the super-sized sequel, audiences still have to wait another week to see how well Bryan Singer and Simon Kinberg have pulled off the ambitious time-traveling plot of “X-Men: Days Of Future Past.” In the meantime, hundred-million dollar marketing campaigns stop for no one which is why there’s a new character "power piece," an interview with some of the mutant stars of the film, and a new featurette.

First up, via Film4 is a nearly ten-minute-long interview with Hugh Jackman, Ian McKellen—who gets to quote an apt James Whale line from “Gods and Monsters”—and James McAvoy. The trio get to talk up what sets the “X-Men” franchise apart from everything else and what it was like to work with their older/younger selves. While not particularly in-depth, the interview is still a breezy and fun watch.

Meanwhile, for you non-die-hards out there, 20th Century Fox has released a Professor X-specifc featurette that gives you the low-down on everyone’s favorite telepath. (Be warned though, the minute-long video does feature some generic dubstep.) A new featurette shows off more footage and insights from the cast, while a fresh clip highlights Young Charles meeting Wolverine. “X-Men: Days Of Future Past” hits theaters on May 23rd.
