As of 2009, 140 million copies of the "Need For Speed" video game had been sold, and who knows how many countless more million units have been shifted since, but will that audience show up to see the big-screen version of their favorite pedal pushing console time waster? That's the riddle Hollywood eternally tries to solve with each video game adaptation though they're hoping they got it right here.

As of 2009, 140 million copies of the "Need For Speed" video game had been sold, and who knows how many countless more million units have been shifted since, but will that audience show up to see the big-screen version of their favorite pedal pushing console time waster? That's the riddle Hollywood eternally tries to solve with each video game adaptation, though they're hoping they got it right here.

Aaron Paul, Dominic Cooper, Imogen Poots, Michael Keaton and Scott Mescudi star in this one about a street racer who has to get revenge or something......SMASH! Let's be real, the only reason anyone is forking over their money is to watch big shiny cars get into big shiny explosions. And in at least one of these clips, you'll see that, with a Hummer getting flipped over. In the other clip, Keaton goes full bonkers with a turn that looks just as flashy as any of the vehicles in the flick. After that are a couple of featurettes about the production.

"Need For Speed" arrives on March 14th, and by the way, it's been converted into 3D.
