Neil Jordan’s vampire flick “Byzantium” is only a month away from its US release date of June 28th so if they want to draw out the undead crowd from their darkened dens and Anne Rice book clubs, the time for a promotional barrage is now. To get the ball rolling we have two new clips from the upcoming gothic tale.

The film stars Gemma Arterton (“Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters”) as Clara and Saoirse Ronan (“The Host”) as Eleanor as a mother and daughter vampire duo struggling with the pitfalls of eternal life. The two find themselves seeking refuge at a coastal resort where they meet Noel who provides them with shelter in his guesthouse, Byzantium. When their true nature is exposed, Clara and Eleanor are forced to face their past and the deadly consequences that come with it.

The clips below seem to center around the character of Eleanor, however, they don’t reveal too much of the film’s narrative.  In fact, if anything, the clips raise way more questions than they answer. So there’s no need to worry about spoilers here. Check them out, along with a batch of new photos below, and let us know what you think.
