As word of a brand new, "Harry Potter"-inspired film series dropped this morning, it's reminder that studios are continuing to seek ways to build on existing properties, because you make your money investing in stuff people already know, instead of trying to launch something new. And so we come to "Marvel's Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D." which sees the Marvel-verse expanding on the small screen, and with the show to kick off in a just a couple weeks, some new peeks have arrived.

Agent Coulson is back, in what we hope is a reasonable explanation of why he's still alive, leading the elite unite and it looks like this will be a quip-fest. The two scenes mostly focus on the comedic and are notable for not being all that funny, so let's hope that when it's time to kick-ass, this thing actually will. But regardless, fans will likely be tuning just to try and parse out whatever scraps of connectivity and teasing the show will provide for the movie universe, as it's only a matter of time before everything is crossing steams.

'S.H.I.E.L.D.' kicks off on ABC on September 24th. Watch below.
