“Edge of Tomorrow,” Doug Liman's sci-fi “Groundhog Day meets D-Day...IN SPACE!” movie, is kind of a tough one: so much so that we reviewed it twice, with wildly differing results, to cover our bases. Certainly you're going to want to see it so you can decide which side you fall on, but if you're not yet convinced we've also got a bunch of promos to introduce you to the key concepts of the film.

Edge of Tomorrow,” Doug Liman's sci-fi “Groundhog Day meets D-Day...IN SPACE!” movie, is kind of a tough one: so much so that we reviewed it twice, with wildly differing results, to cover our bases. Certainly you're going to want to see it so you can decide which side you fall on, but if you're not yet convinced, we've also got a bunch of clips to introduce you to the key concepts of the film: the big mecha-suit Tom Cruise wears to fight the bizarre aliens (a movie with genuinely alien-looking aliens, we never thought we'd see the day), the training regime he's put through by Rita (Emily Blunt), and more.

It's ambitious, that's for sure, and even with a star the size of Cruise it's a gutsy movie that may well blow up in everyone's faces. But check out the clips below, and if they're not enough to pique your curiosity, there's still this utterly amazing quote from Doug Liman: "If you love Tom Cruise, you see him giving a genius performance, and if you hate Tom Cruise he dies like 200 times in the movie." Sold. (Also: a few more featurettes.)
