Captain America: The Winter Soldier

That was fast. It's hard to believe that "Captain America: The Winter Soldier" is just weeks away, hitting screens overseas at the end of the month. And now Marvel is doing the final push for the sequel, which means we're going to get lots more from the movie online before we see it in cinemas, and today a new, lengthy three minute clip has arrived.

And it's a good taste of the tone Anthony and Joe Russo are bringing to their first tentpole gig, which doesn't shake up the formula too much. The action is brisk, Scarlett Johansson's stunt double is busy and the banter is playful. But what you're really here for is comic book goodness, and this has it in spades, though tinged with a darker mood and a tinge of realism that more's in line with "Iron Man 3" than even "Captain America: The First Avenger." Basically, it's everything you expected, without daring to go further.

"Captain America: The Winter Soldier" is on duty on April 4th. Watch the clip below followed by a new mini-trailer. [Fandango]
