Well this is certainly way more interesting than the letter and alarm that dropped this morning. More has dripped out of the viral campaign for "Pacific Rim" and this latest bit is pretty damn good.

Some "news" footage of a monster attack in San Francisco makes up this latest peek to Guillermo Del Toro's next effort, and while more savvy types will likely freeze frame the very, very brief glimpses we get of the monster, there is no doubt this thing is fucking huge. And even though we've seen this faux report footage motif countless times, it can still be really effective, and yes, it impressed here. But in true teaser form, its keeping all the secrets close to the vest for now, but in two weeks, when the clock on the viral site runs out there will likely to be a lot more to discover and speculate over.

Starring Rinko Kikuchi, Charlie Hunnam, Idris Elba, Ron Perlman and Charlie Day, "Pacific Rim" opens on July 12, 2013. Watch below followed by some blue prints below. [THR]

Can't wait to see the movie, but this kind of marketing thing is so boring now. Too Cloverfield.

it's not Found Footage, it's a news report, part of it and it looks like it's loosing the signal, thaat's why it's blurry.
