Apes will rule the Earth ... at least at the multiplex this summer when "Dawn Of The Planet Of The Apes" arrives, picking up years after "Rise Of The Planet Of The Apes," with humanity now at the mercy of the super smart simians. A lot of work went into creating the realistic looking simians, that goes far beyond the tremendous amount of CGI.

In this new featurette, you can see Judy Greer and Toby Kebbell working hard to get the movements of the apes down, before they start shooting their mo-capped scenes. It's an interesting look into the effort that goes into this kind of stuff, that usually isn't highlighted, or certainly not given this kind of shine. Meanwhile, a very brief teaser for the new trailer—dropping next week—has arrived to stoke the fire in your loins. Feel the burn by watching both videos below.

"Dawn Of The Planet Of The Apes" drops on July 11th.
