Now a full-on vampire, Bella is leaping around the woods like a veritable John Carter, but Michael Sheen and his oddly-costumed cohorts are on their way, and the Cullens are forced to find allies from all around the vampire world (including, it would seem, The Last Airbender), and prepare for one almighty final battle, which seems to take place on a frozen lake. Because we've never seen that before on a film.
Anyway, all the things you've come to expect from the "Twilight" franchise seem to be present and correct -- smoldering looks, flat line readings, terrible special effects -- so it's pretty much business as usual for the fifth installment, the second to be directed by "Dreamgirls" helmer Bill Condon.
