Comedy team ups are a tricky thing. Bringing together a bunch of funny people doesn't necessarily mean the end product will be the height of hilarity, and for every "Anchorman" there are countless other comedies that fail to deliver on the promise of the cast. And so, while bringing together Vince Vaughn, Ben Stiller, Jonah Hill and Richard Ayoade is pretty amazing on paper, we have yet to see how their various comedic styles will play together, but in this first look at "Neighborhood Watch" at least sets up the tone for what we might expect.

Granted, it's very brief and mostly features the gang rolling in a suburban 'hood with the eternally badass "Still D.R.E." backing them up. It's a pretty nice and funny set-up for these guys whose biggest priority (at first) is busting a kid for egging them. Oh yeah, those jackets are swag too. But the real test will be how the sci-fi elements will eventually come into play, because yes, this being a summer tentpole film, these four will (hilariously?) defend their homes from aliens (or something).

So, there is still much more to see, but so far at least, it's promising. Lonely Island member and "Hot Rod" director Akiva Schaffer is at the helm, and this hits on July 27th. Trailer and poster below. [HeyUGuys/Collider]
