In just a couple of weeks, Marvel will kick off their year of geekery with "Captain America: The Winter Soldier." As always, fans are excited for the movie and of course, the now-standard post-credits tease. So what's coming this time around from the studio? Well, as is also now standard, some folks who have seen early screenings are spilling what you can expect if you stick around to enjoy squishy floors of your local multiplex. And duh, SPOILERS AHEAD.

Over at ScreenRant, they've uncovered some Google translated descriptions of the two credit stingers/buttons that give fans an early look at some characters entering the Marvel-verse. Read on....

Scene 1:
After the fall of both SHIELD and HYDRA we see Baron Von Strucker (Thomas Kretschmann) in his underground laboratory. His men have the scepter of Loki got hold of, as well as two special prisoners. None other than Quicksilver (Aaron Taylor-Johnson) and Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen). The superfast Quicksilver bounces from one side of his cell to another, while Scarlet Witch few blocks stacks with her thoughts. Von Strucker proclaims that “The Age of Miracles” is near. And thus we immediately know how mutants are listed in the Marvel movie universe.

Scene 2:
We see the Winter Soldier incognito Captain America-exhibit at the Smithsonian Museum. Here he encounters the information about James Buchanan “Bucky” Barnes. It plays threatening music, but this Winter Soldier seems indeed to have who he really is and that Captain America was telling the truth.

At least they're not sitting around eating shawarma, right? Let us know what you think about scenes below. "Captain America: The Winter Solider" drops on April 4th. Until then, here's a Black Widow featurette to tide you over.

I am a fan of the post credit previews or easter eggs. It was started in the Iron Man films and has been a way to cleverly preview upcoming characters or villans. Agents of Shield is another vehicle to that same end, but with less budget. I think if you have a franchise and you are comitted to it, then every studio should be willing to do it. I for one enjoy it immensely!

Sorry to burst your bubble but the stingers started with Daredevil. Bullseye was in a full body cast at the end. Even X-Men 3 and Fantastic Four Rise Of The Silver Sufer did it before Iron Man. Fox started the tradition.
