More goodies from "The Dark Knight Rises" as you head into your Thanksgiving weekend. In case you missed it, earlier today a whopping 45 photos dropped from the movie, all centered around the vicious mid-film battle between Batman and Bane, showing the intensive work that went into constructing that memorable sequence. And now, we're going to take one step further back to see how Tom Hardy transformed himself in the first place.

A clip from the upcoming home video extras will give you a peek behind Hardy's weight gain so he could be fully beefed as Bane. But perhaps more intriguingly is the concept artwork for Bane, along with an image of the actor pre-CGI, just hanging out in an office with his tats wearing the iconic mask. Yep, still looks pretty intimidating.

Anyway, take a peek at everything below. "The Dark Knight Rises" arrives on Blu-ray Combo Pack, DVD and Digital Download December 3rd in the U.K. and December 4th in the U.S. [The Sun/ScreenCrush]

I understand that Bane character is very hard to pull off in a feature film but TDKR Bane design is awful. Early designs are not better either. I like Hardy but Nolan should have cast someone with better physique. Sorry... Hardy was just fat. Bale seemed to be better built than Hardy, Wasn't Batman supposed to be physically weaker than Bane?

Lol, fat? Are you for real? He added 30 pounds of muscle in such a short production time, not fat. You need to stop the jealousy and give the man credit when it's due.

He WAS physically weaker than Bane. Hence why he got his ass kicked in the first fight.

Hollywood actors change their body weight quickly because they have good trainers, programs and diet. They have months to build muscle before the filming starts. Snyder's 300 and Refn's Bronson have some DVD extras where they show how these guys train. They don't need steroids.

DAAAMMMMM some1 is straight up a HATER! Wtf did u say "fat" ?!?! Some1 should get their eyes checked he was massive dude! But on another note its incredible how some of these few actors in Hollywood (Denzel, Christian, Tom, Ryan Reynolds) drastically change their body weight & SO QUICKLY!.... (secretly I wonder if they use any drugs to help them out, cuz their not athletes I mean they can sure y not)..... Hmmmmmmm *rubs chin* dunno, tough call

If Tom Hardy was fat in this movie, the rest of the male population in this country is in big trouble.
