10 Essential Cinematic AntiheroesThe first trailer for the Dakota Fanning weepie "Now Is Good" has arrived and it's so saccharine sweet, you might get a few cavities watching it. The film follows 17-year-old Tessa who is dying of leukemia and enlists the help of a young man (Jeremy Irvine) to help her knock out her bucket list before she dies, which includes losing her virginity and doing drugs. No stranger to button-pushing dramedy, this film comes courtesy of Ol Parker who last helmed "Imagine Me & You" about a newlywed bride who falls in love with another woman.
Anyway, you can see Fanning, her new haircut and her not-half-bad accent below. "Now Is Good" opens in the U.K. on May 25th. Sony has the U.S. rights but no date has been set, and we presume it will get shuffled off to VOD/DVD. [Yahoo]

Seriously? Minus the accent, it's as if they didn't even bother to try making Fanning any different from Mia W.'s character in "Restless."

"Imagine Me & You" is one of my favorite movies! Parker also wrote the screenplay for "Best Exotic Marigold Hotel"--can hardly wait to see both "Marigold" and "Now Is Good."

Paddy Considine's gotta keep doing this stuff so he can get the money for his next directorial knock-out punch. So I don't mind this fluff.

Looks like hot poop on a stick. And that English accent seems to have basically zapped Fanning of all her natural charisma.
