10 Essential Cinematic AntiheroesAnyway, David Lynch's video for the title track from his album Crazy Clown Time has arrived....and yeah, it's a David Lynch video. Basically, it finds the lyrics of the song -- which are strange enough on their own -- being acted out literally by the cast in the vid. From what we gather, it's mostly about pouring beer on people, lighting fires and running around. So yes, it's pretty awesomely fucked up and definitely the strangest thing you'll watch today, this week and this month.
Watch it all unfold below and yeah, you might want to close the office door for this one. [via Bleeding Cool]

I thinks it's fantastic, and like his films being macabre commentaries of how ridiculous hollywood was becoming and has since become; this song does the same for the music industry. Smoking it out and presenting just how ridiculous it has become and will continue to get.
If you sit back and actually pick this song and film clip apart it delivers a very clever social commentary.

Painful, and not in a good way. Come on DL, there must be something truly meaty in the pipeline. Something bigger than a human fist.

Yea, Lynch really has to get back to directing movies. His musical adventures so far have been godawful. Couldn't even finish watching that video. So painful.

Awful, Lynch is becoming more and more a parody of himself.

Lynch's most straight forward work since The Straight Story? I still haven't listened to this album for many different reasons. The title reminds me of one of those Crispin Glover albums from the 90's and the fact that Lynch has been indulging in boring endeavors like this instead of delivering another film to me, his selfish, selfish fan, sort of bums me out.
