10 Essential Cinematic AntiheroesNominated for Best Animated Short Film, the debut from director John Kahrs mixes computer-generated and hand-drawn animation techniques in the story of a lonely young man in mid-century New York City who meets a beautiful woman on his morning commute. Expecting never to see her again, he's surprised when he spies her through the window, working in the office across the street. With nothing but a stack of paper at his disposal, he's determined to get her attention.
Charming and certainly lovingly put together, the short unspooled during the fall in front of “Wreck-It Ralph.” But if you missed it and/or just want to see it again, watch below. [Collider]

Well, if that film is not heavily inspired by Patrick Hughes' short "Signs" I don't know what is. It's boderline rip-off. This one's nevertheless nice and funny and well made, also it uses some magical elements, but still. It felt like a film I had already seen.
But good thing @Disney to release the film. Wish the other shorts would follow.
