No one joins the CIA just to work as an analyst. Or that's the case in the movie world anyway, with Chris Pine's rebooted Jack Ryan drawn into far more than he bargained for in "Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit." And with Paramount's new (potential) franchise launching in just a few days, a couple more clips are here to entice you to buy tickets.

Both clips are action-oriented sequences, with Keira Knightley's Cathy drawn more into the mix than a standard female role in these kinds of movies. In the first clip, Jack has to dodge baddies to try and track her down (with some sniper help from cool-as-fuck Kevin Costner), while in the second clip, a tracking device is keeping tabs on her whereabouts. From shootouts in vague industrial backdrops, to car chases, it looks like all the action bases are covered.

But the final result you'll have to see for yourself when "Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit" opens on Friday, January 17th.
