And so it comes to an end, and we continue to look back at the year in film as 2012 winds to a close. And a favorite among video types is cutting togther a visual look at the all the movies that hit the big screen across the past 12 months. Just about a week ago we got the first such mashup, and now comes another.

And so it comes to an end, and we continue to look back at the year in film as 2012 winds to a close. And a favorite among video types is cutting togther a visual look at the all the movies that hit the big screen across the past 12 months. Just about a week ago we got the first such mashup, and now comes another.

Oh sure, there's nothing Earth-shattering about these compilations, but they are pretty fun to cycle through. It's always remarkable to consider just how many movies arrive each year, and at least for this writer, how short one's memory can be. January seems like it was a whole other lifetime away. And this particular supercut runs a pretty decent gamut, featuring everything from "The Dark Knight Rises" to the delightfully named Indian film "Barfi!"
