10 Essential Cinematic AntiheroesThe sci-fi-tinged synopsis is a little baffling, and the film's cast, which includes Hollywood starlet Eva Mendes and pop legend Kylie Minogue, doubly so. But a very brief clip from the movie has arrived, courtesy of Greek site Flix.gr (thanks to Yorgos from the site for the tip-off): would it answer any of our many, many questions about the project? Unless one of the questions was 'what would a low budget Carax-helmed remake of "Tron" look like?," not really.
Basically, we get less than 30 seconds of a man (Lavant?) in a black body stocking with LED lights on it backflipping off the walls and waving what look to be some kind of pick axes around. Lord knows how it fits into the film at large, but as you might expect from Carax, it's pretty stunning to look at. The film premieres at Cannes next Tuesday, so all being well, we'll be able to solve some more of the movie's mysteries then. Watch the clip below.

No, that's not Lavant. And it's not even from the film. That's Paul George of the Indiana Pacers warming up for the 2012 dunk contest.
