10 Essential Cinematic AntiheroesDirected by Sally Potter ("Orlando"), the film centers on the fraying friendship between two teenage girls (Fanning and Alice Englert) who encounter romance and the surging political wave of the 1960s. This scene from the film is clearly from happier times, and overall "Ginger and Rosa" is "a layered and rich little gem of a picture about life, love" and much more. New shingle A24 have picked up the rights, but are yet to give it a release date (c'mon guys). But here's hoping that an Oscar-qualifying run at least happens, and they get it in front of Academy voter eyeballs.
"Ginger & Rosa" opens in the UK this Friday, October 19th. Watch below.

Elle Fanning did a good job. I saw it at Telluride and most of the people were pretty lukewarm to the film so I'm surprised when I keep hearing how amazing it was. If you don't know much about it, I think it's got some good moments. If you go in with the amazing idea, audiences are going to be disappointed.

You know how when peoples favorite baseball teams win the world series they usually drive around for a while honking and yelling that's basically what I'm going to do when Elle Fanning wins best actress next year
