Game Of Thrones

Between the Golden Globes and the season premieres of "Girls," "True Detective" and "Looking," we know it's already a busy night for your eyeballs. And we're sorry to have to give you another distraction, but this is one you've probably been waiting for.

Using their first big night of 2014, HBO has taken the opportunity to drop the first full trailer for "Game of Thrones" season 4 on your doorstep. And good God, there is so much to expect from this new season: the White Walkers and Mance Rayder's wildlings are marching down from the North, Arya is probably looking for revenge, Daenerys Targaryen's power is rising while in exile, Joffrey and Margaery are due to be married, and so, so much more.

What do you think of this first look? And remember, the show is now no longer delivering a book per season, choosing instead to shake things up a bit. "Game of Thrones" is back on Sunday, April 6th at 9 p.m. Watch below.

Music is "Feral Love" by Chelsea Wolfe--a perfect name for a GOT trailer music if there ever was one--just in case anyone was wondering.

Who is the guy in the beginning talking to Joffrey? "people love their king"

  • Scott | January 13, 2014 4:28 PM

Jamie Lannister is the one standing next to him but I'm pretty sure that wasn't Jaime's voice that said "the people love their king". It's likely that line was taken from another scene.
