Last night, "Girls" closed out its second season with a rather lacklustre finale, and while "Game Of Thrones" is HBO's next big series out of the gate, later this spring they'll be returning with more laughs. The second season of "Veep" will kick off in April, with a new trailer recently arriving, and then in May, Christopher Guest will make a long awaited return with "Family Tree." And the first teaser promises a lot of familiar faces from his usual collective...
...but leading them will be someone new to the gang, Chris O'Dowd. He heads the show, and with Fred Willard, Michael McKean, Ed Begley Jr. and Don Lake in support, the story will center on 30-year-old Tom Chadwick, who inherits a mysterious box that belonged to his great aunt, and decides to learn more about his roots. It looks like another collection of loveable oddballs, and probably with more one liners and quips than a thirty second teaser can contain. This is a nice appetizer, but we're obviously eager for the main course.
The exact debut date isn't yet revealed, but we'd reckon it'll land on Sunday night as per usual providing some backup to "Veep." Watch below.
