Watch: First Teaser Trailer For 'How To Train Your Dragon 2' Flies Online

When "How To Train Your Dragon" arrived in the spring of 2010 (which feels like eons ago), could anyone have predicted it would earn nearly $500 million worldwide? Frankly, no one knew, but DreamWorks suddenly had franchise material on their hands and they didn't waste a single moment. A Cartoon Network TV series is now on the air, a standalone TV special was created and now they are bringing back Hiccup (Jay Baruchel) and the gang for another big screen adventure in "How To Train Your Dragon 2," and the first teaser trailer is here.

Expectations are high—this movie will drop right in the heart of next summer—and this initial taste is promising some amped up spectacle. Here, we see Hiccup flying with this dragon pal Toothless, soaring through the air, when the young man unveils a little something he's been working on that we'll let check out below. It's a nice little segment that seems to retain the sweetness that made the first movie such a big hit.

But, you've still got a bit of a wait. "How To Train Your Dragon 2" doesn't arrive until June 20, 2014. [Empire]
